Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve
This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Day 2 : Discover Masai Mara Game Reserve
Our full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve will be spared for the search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration. During game viewing remember to keep a sharp lookout, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is no considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River. The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking prey. All meals will be served at the camp. Day 3: Masai Mara Game – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
Today we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this Park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Similar Meal Plan {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}
Day 4 Lake Nakuru - Drive to Lake Bogoria National Reserve
We have early breakfast at the Lodge and then set out for our second leg of the safari, which takes us to Lake Bogoria located inside Lake Bogoria National Reserve. We arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Bogoria Country Club or Similar. In the afternoon, we explore Lake Bogoria National Reserve on a game drive and walk around this spectacular lake in the heart of an arid landscape. The soda lake attracts massive flocks of flamingos and is often carpeted in pink, due to the high concentrations of flamingoes. The western shore has hot springs and spouting geysers, spurting steam and bubbling geothermal pools. Fresh water springs at the lake edge attract an abundance of birds and wildlife. DAy 5Lake Bogoria /Lake Baringo
Lake Baringo, a fresh water Rift Valley lake, famous for its magnificent bird life. Lake Baringo is well known for two of its waters’ residents–Hippo and Crocodile. Hippos are seen in the lake on boat trips, and at Lakeside lodges and camps. They are seen also seen at night grazing the lawns. Overnight at Lake Baringo Club or Lake Baringo Island Camp or Similar
Day 6: Lake Baringo/Nairobi
This is the true naturalists lake with flamingoes in their thousands. We will be able to explore on foot but caution must be taken while walking near the hot springs. In the afternoon we will depart from Nairobi to arrive late evening.
