You will be driven by the river which is a great place to spot wildlife. This area is a photographer’s delight whereby with some bit of luck, you will be able to take amazing pictures of the hippo and crocodile in the water. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons Maasai Mara has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa.
There is particularly a dramatic spectacle between July to October; wherein you may experience the annual wildebeest migration that includes huge herds of Gnus and Zebras. This migration also invites predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards, cheetahs and of course lions who closely follow these herds.
